ANITA KAUFFMANN

Anita has experience across a broad range of industries and roles including aviation (having served as a Board member of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and was responsible for the aviation portfolio within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister 2021-22) and has a background in government and regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and leadership and working in policy-based environments.
Anita is a Chartered Accountant with mediation and governance qualifications and currently holds a range of Non-Executive roles across a number of organisations. Having also served various roles with the Gliding Federation of Australia between 2009 and 2014, (including as President 2012-2019) Anita contributed towards regulatory frameworks that governed aviation sporting activities in Australia. Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from UNSW, a Certificate in Mediation, a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from USQ and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Resolution Institute.
