At Industry Skills Australia (ISA), we’re on a mission to strengthen Australia’s supply chain by building a world-class workforce. As the Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) for the transport and logistics sectors, we collaborate across government, industry, education and unions to drive real workforce reform.
Our mission is to enhance national productivity and create workforce development programs to support Industry. We collaborate with business leaders, unions, governments, industry organisations, and training providers to understand the real challenges and to implement high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing projects across scope, quality, finance, risk and compliance parameters.
- Designing and implementing high quality engagement experiences for industry and government stakeholders to develop viable solutions to training, and workforce development solutions and reform opportunities.
- Overseeing the development and facilitation of project working groups, providing evidence, drafts proposals, and expert insights demonstrating progress and momentum across the project lifecycle.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A sound understanding of the Australian Vocational, Education and Training (VET) system and national policy context.
- Strong project management and organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, team members and stakeholders.
- Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to form effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
