ISA Joins National Conversation at ACCI Business Leaders' Summit and Gala Dinner
ISA was honoured to attend the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)'s Business Leaders' Summit and Gala Dinner, held at the iconic Parliament House in Canberra. The event brought together leaders from across the business and policy landscape to discuss the future of Australian industry.
Representing ISA was Klausch Schmidt, Director of Project Operations, who joined fellow attendees in exploring the evening’s central themes deregulation, digitalisation, and decarbonisation. These three pillars are driving transformation across sectors, and the summit provided a valuable platform for dialogue and collaboration.
A highlight of the evening was the keynote address delivered by Treasurer Jim Chalmers, who spoke about the importance of innovation and reform in shaping Australia’s economic future. A key takeaway from the discussions was the critical role of skills development in enabling progress across all three focus areas. Whether it’s streamlining regulation, embracing digital technologies, or advancing sustainability, a skilled and adaptable workforce is essential.
The event also provided a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow members of the Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs), sharing insights and strengthening partnerships across industries.
