JODIE RANSOM

Jodie Ransom is the Chief Executive Officer of Fremantle Ports, appointed substantively to the role on 1 July 2024 after serving as CEO from April that year. She joined Fremantle Ports in May 2023, bringing with her more than three decades of experience across the maritime, mining, and logistics sectors.
Jodie began her career as a seafarer with BHP Transport before progressing into management, operational, commercial, and supply chain roles with organisations including MUR Shipping Australia, Jebsens Australia, and CBH Group. Prior to Fremantle Ports, she was General Manager, West for Svitzer Australia, overseeing operations across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Papua New Guinea.
A respected leader in her field, Jodie has served on the board of the Kimberley Port Authority and was a member of the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia. She holds formal qualifications in leadership and the marine industry.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Jodie champions gender equity in industries where women remain underrepresented. She believes that achieving gender balance will strengthen culture, decision-making, and performance, paving the way for generations to come.
