Workforce Planning Update

Draft 2026 Workforce Planning Updates

We are inviting industry and stakeholders to provide feedback on the draft 2026 Workforce Planning Updates. Your input is important to ensure the updates accurately reflect current workforce challenges, priorities, and opportunities across the transport supply chain.

The 2026 Workforce Planning Updates introduce an enhanced, multi‑year approach to strengthen industry engagement and deepen collaboration with key stakeholders. Building on the 2025 Workforce Plans, which identified the key challenges and drivers affecting industry, the 2026 updates focus on the collective actions now underway to progress agreed priorities.

The updates highlight initiatives led by ISA and industry partners that respond directly to previously identified workforce challenges, demonstrating how collaborative efforts are supporting the development of an agile, productive, and future‑ready transport supply chain workforce and driving meaningful, long‑term industry outcomes.
